Who we are
Lancashire Subsidence ("we", "us", "our") operates this website as a lead generation service. We do not carry out subsidence investigation or repair works ourselves. Instead, we collect enquiries from homeowners and businesses across Lancashire and pass them on to a fully qualified subsidence professional who is able to help with the issue you describe.
What we collect
When you complete our quote form we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address and phone number
- Your full property address, postcode and town
- The type of property and a description of the issue (your comments / message)
- Whether your enquiry is part of an insurance claim and how urgent it is
- Your GDPR consent confirming you are happy for us to share these details
How we use your information
We use the details you provide for the single purpose of connecting you with an approved subsidence specialist who can review your situation and contact you with advice or a quotation. We may also use an aggregated, non-identifying view of submissions to improve the website.
Who we share your information with
By submitting the form and ticking the consent box, you agree that we will share the information you have provided with our approved subsidence specialist so they can contact you about your enquiry. We do not sell your data to unrelated third parties and we do not share your details for marketing by anyone other than the specialist matched to your enquiry.
We use standard hosting and analytics providers to run the site.
Lawful basis
Our lawful basis for processing your enquiry is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by ticking the consent box on the quote form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us — this will not affect processing that has already taken place.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry data is retained for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your request and any follow-up, and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and basic analytics. No advertising cookies are set.
